Somehow, we both ended up working at the same office. Right from the start, we felt like something was missing in the fast-paced world we were part of. We were tired of the emptiness, stuck in the same monotonous 9-to-6 routine.
Every day, our conversations were about design, but it often felt like there was no room to truly explore our creativity. It felt like we were always caught up in the routine, without enough time to pause and reflect on the meaning behind our work.

We’d had enough of that. 

Through long conversations, we began dreaming of a different way of working. We constantly exchanged feedback on our individual freelance projects, and one day, we looked at each other and asked:

What if we started something together?

From that moment on, all our conversations centered around how we could bring this new idea to life. 
We spent countless hours refining our vision—exploring the values we cared about, the problems we wanted to solve, and the philosophy behind it all.
And so, Repose was born, out of a shared need to pause, reflect, and create with purpose. 
We live surrounded by the most marvelous people, places, and natural beauty, yet so often, we rush through life without truly experiencing it. 

Our philosophy was shaped by those long talks about what matters most to us: discovering the beauty in the unnoticed, creating space for ideas to breathe, and letting creativity flourish without rushing. For us, design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about thoughtfulness, warmth, and intention. It’s about slowing down to truly see what’s in front of us and finding ways to re-signify the ordinary. 
One day, we decided to take the leap. We didn’t have all the answers, and we weren’t entirely sure how to build a company from scratch—but we were filled with passion and determination. 

In a world that constantly pushes for speed, Repose is about stepping back, appreciating the process, and creating with heart. It’s about curating experiences that invite people to pause, reflect, and feel deeply connected to what surrounds them. Our brand stands for thoughtful design and creativity with purpose.
Through our Inspiration Community and Creative Direction Studio, we want to help others discover what’s often overlooked. We don’t know exactly where this journey will lead, but we’re guided by a deep belief in what we’re building and excited by the many ways this project could evolve.
