This time, we didn’t visit an artist’s atelier, but Mama Baker has the same creative energy. When thinking of brands that share our values, it was the first that came to our mind.

You will always find a line in front of this tiny shop, located at 13 Rue de Lépante, 06000 Nice.

We were welcomed by Bastien and Celine. They both worked in finance for several years until one day, they decided to open a boulangerie—not because one of them was a baker, but simply because they loved good food. And so, in 2015, Mama Baker was born.

They were pioneers in Nice, being the first to produce all their baked goods with ´farine sur mole de pierre´ and organic ingredients.

The moment you step inside, you immediately understand why their products are so special. The team behind it is full of energy, and the space radiates a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
Even though every job has its routines, Bastien loves observing how the dough reacts differently with each season—how nature influences the process.

We admire those who step away from the expected path to create something meaningful, and Mama Baker is a perfect example of that.
