Last year, I was lucky enough to visit a contemporary art exhibition in Paris. The building, remodeled by renowned architect Tadao Ando, was a masterpiece in itself.
The experience was breathtaking. Seeing the building so perfectly restored, watching how the historic architecture blended with the contemporary design—touching delicately without invading or overshadowing each other, was fascinating. With every step, I fell more in love with the space.
But when I reached the rotunda, Kimsooja’s art installation took everything to another level. It was a huge circular mirror that made the whole experience of the building stand out even more.
For me, it was clear proof that when passion is what drives us, the results are always stronger. And the people who experience and connect with those spaces filled with passion also feel that energy and become part of it.
