REPOSE THOUGHTS

The unlived emotions

(January 2025)

How often do we experience new emotions?
Something you´ve never went trough?
Is there an age when we stop having new emotions?

We experience something unfamiliar and immediately reach out.
“Do you understand?” “Did this happened to you already?” we ask.

We want confirmation that our feelings are real, that they make sense. There’s comfort in shared experience. When someone says, “Yes, I’ve felt that too,” a weight lifts.

The pain seems lighter.  The confusion less overwhelming.

But can we really know someone else’s exact emotions? Feelings are deeply personal. Completely subjective. No experiences are identical, even when they seem similar.

Our emotions don’t need external approval. They simply need our acceptance.

What we’re feeling is valid. Right now. In this moment.
